You have finally arrived in Cape Town, be it your 1st or 10th time, and we know it will be a memorable experience. Welcome to our home and something fresh. To get you started, we would like to tell you a little history about Cheviot Place Guest House. At a cost of 600 pounds the house was built in 1906, hence its Victorian style décor, and in the late 50's it was remodelled to resemble that era. The roof was even boarded, which led to house to losing its originality. The house remained like this until the 90's when it was then over a 6-year period, lovingly restored to its original beauty and what you now see today. We took it a step further in 2008 by adding on two new loft suites, viewing sunset lounge, a new breakfast room and an additional lounge area.

We'd like you to feel this is also your home for the duration of your time in South Africa and for many years to come.
